Labor Compliance Consultant
I bring 10 years of hands-on labor compliance experience to every engagement, with deep expertise in California Prevailing Wage, Davis-Bacon, Apprenticeship Compliance, and Trust Fund Compliance. I've worked across roles as a labor compliance consultant, apprenticeship compliance specialist, and in-house compliance lead for large general contractors — giving me a practical, ground-level understanding of the challenges employers face.
Learn more about my background“After 40 years as both a union and non-union contractor, working almost exclusively on public works projects, I've dealt with countless apprenticeship programs, labor compliance programs, auditors, investigators, and consultants. Dexter Gonsalves stands out because he understands both sides of the equation. He knows the compliance requirements, but he also understands the realities and needs of the contractor trying to comply with them. In my experience, very few people truly understand both. Most tend to approach compliance from one side or the other. Dexter understands the rules, understands contractors, and knows how to bring the two together. That combination of knowledge and practical experience is rare and extremely valuable.”
